Heather provides classes in a variety of textile art processes and techniques.  Examples of classes she has provided before are in bag making, fabric badges and brooches, felting and card making.

She has years of experience in teaching at the University of Ulster, where she currently works as a Textile Art and Knit technician and has facilitated workshops at various locations such as, the Ulster Museum, Island Arts Centre, Lisburn, and at the Braid, Ballymena.

Workshops are an excellent way to introduce people to the basics of textiles and for them to come away with a piece of work they might not have had the confidence to attempt before.

If you would like Heather to run a workshop please contact her via the contact page.

Some snapshots of a workshop Heather ran in Brazil in 2011.  Everyone had a fun filled week of making bags, brooches and cushions.
